FAQ
What is a datathon?
We'll provide you a rich dataset and real-world problem, and your task is to analyze the dataset and come up with a solution. You'll work in a space with other contestants over a weekend, and pitch your solution to a panel of judges. What is this year's case? We haven't released this year's case yet. We'll drop the case (problem + data) on the website closer to the competition to give everyone the same amount of time. Do I need to know how to code? No. If you have a health background, you can join a team with coders, or use data analysis software tools that don't require a coding background! |
Do I need a team?
No. You are free to work individually. Is there a cost to attend? If you are accepted, the Datathon is free to attend! Who can participate? The Blueprint Datathon is open to undergraduate and graduate students. Other questions? Feel free to email us! |
